Seamless Internet Interface for Automation System

DALLAS - July 22, 2004 - Television broadcasters are now able to easily add a "now playing" display to their web sites. Scott Video, a division of Scott Studios, a leader in digital broadcast automation, introduces the seamless interface as the latest feature for its XT and LE systems.

The Scott Video system is a server and automation in one unit. Two versions-the fully featured four-channel XT and the less expensive, walk-away automation offered in LE-mean that every broadcasting operation can take the station to the next level of multi-media. The Scott Internet interface communicates with the Scott Video system to show viewers who visit the station's web site what's currently on the air.

The simple default HTML template is easily customized to integrate into any station's site, and it automatically updates every 30 seconds and at the onset of a new event. The interface shows 10 events-the last four previously played spots or segments, what's currently playing, and the next five to come.

Scott Video offers affordable solutions to automate television control rooms. Scott Video is from Scott Studios Corp. of Dallas, Texas-the company 4,600 U.S. TV and radio stations rely on to broadcast all their spots and most of their programming.
