Video Asset Manager Released
DALLAS - April 6, 2004 - Scott Video, a division of Scott Studios, a leader in digital broadcast automation, is pleased to announce that its file management system has been renamed. Formerly called VPS, Scott Video's Asset Trim & Manage offers a total file management system for television broadcasters of any size.
Asset Trim & Manage allows users to encode, record, trim, distribute, upload, monitor and decode video. The confidence monitoring feature allows users to see what they're encoding as it's encoded. Once encoded or recorded, ATM lets users add headers and information fields. Also, users can add kill dates to video, so nothing airs when it shouldn't.
ATM supports frame-accurate, bit rate-controlled editing of MPEG2 program and transport streams. With a jog wheel, users can make precise cuts easily. Then they can manage and distribute these and other files. All video will aire with better quality because there's no need to decode back to tape.
Scott Video's Asset Trim & Manage is available in two versions, which means we have the perfect video encoder and file manager for any application. Both versions work seamlessly with other production systems in any PC environment.
ATM offers many other features, so contact Henry Lisenbee at [email protected] to learn more.
